How long will my Russian Blue cat stay in heat?

She's about 5 months old and is in heat. I wanted to know the duration and frequency of being in heat.

Actually this is a set of other questions and remarks instead of an answer. Are you planning to breed her and raise kittens? Are you sure you can keep them or find good homes for them instead of having to have them put down? If not a big "Yes" to the second question, please consider having her spayed. There are far too many kittens who never have a chance to live. Now that I have preached, congratulations on the Russian Blue. I had one for six years. She was too smart for her own good, but she loved me totally. They are wonderful cats! My Fog was hilarious when she went into heat, but we had her spayed soon after the first time, so I don't know how often it would have happened. Remember, however, that a cat will often stay in heat or go right back into heat time after time unless she is bred. That can mean 1. watching her constantly so that she doesn't get outside and 2. hearing the funny noises all the time.

The British Blue Cat is a very strong cat, with a body shape which people refer to as "square", as their nearly as long in length as they are broad. The legs on the British Blue are quite thick, but also very small, this is to hold up their very heavily muscled body. Due to the broad shape of the cat and also its amount of muscle this type of cat is often referred to as the bull dog of the cat world. The male version of the cat is much larger than the female, as they are a lot broader and rounder. Both of these cats however are quite imposing and this sometimes causes people to be put off.

British Blue Cats have heads which are very broad and also quite large. Their cheeks are chubby, which gives them a notably chipmunk appearance. Their eyes also stand out a lot as they tend to be large and of a copper color. Finally, they have a snub nose which is quite form and a slightly rounded chin which helps to emphasizes the powerful jaw and the round head this breed of cat has.

With a thick body of hair, the British Blue Cat doesn't shed too often and this means that there isn't too much maintenance in the cleaning up after the cat department. However, a cool living space and also regular hand grooming will be needed to keep any shedding to the very minimum. The coat of the British Blue is, as the as the name suggests, blue. This however doesn't mean the blue which you may be thinking about, naturally the cat is a grey colour however in certain lights it will look blue to the human eye.

Even though the British Blue Shorthair Cat is a large cat, this does not in any way mean that it is fat. The width of the shoulder should be the same as the width and if this isn't true then you should look into feeding your cat more, or less, depending on the symptoms. If their body caves in, then it is too skinny and you should feed your cat make, when if it pouches out then please look into feeding the cat less or making it do more activities. To maintain their good heath they need good genetics, goo quality food, and also plenty of regular exercise.
