How do I repair cracks in black leather boots?

Just recently bought my wife a pair of used black leather boots and would like any advice on DIY tips on repair of the cracks. I've already treated and ploished them but need to "fill" the cracks

You will want to use a wax based black polish, the type that comes in a can. You will want to put the wax on heavily in the cracked areas. Let it dry and then buff it out by hand very lightly. You want to create a smooth texture but still leave the wax there this will fill in the cracks. Then apply a fresh thin coat of the wax polish and buff it out right away.
