How do I train my baby Pomeranian to pee out side. He is 9 weeks old and such a cute dog.?

I would like to have some suggestions on how to train are Pomeranian to pee out side instead of all over the house. We have been putting his nose into the pee and tapping his nose and yelling bad dog and then placing out side, however he does not learn. He is driving me nuts and making my house stink. Please any advice would be very helpful.

hmmm...just took the carpet cleaner back myself!.l.o.l. ok...take him out on the hour every hour into the garden and say your pee/poo command over and over whilst out there. i say "get it done then" when he does wee or poo, give him a small edible treat and make a huge fuss of him. you must do this for at least 3 or 4 weeks so he learns to assosciate toilet outside with good treats and happy feelings. don't scold him if he has an accident in the house....i know it's hard but try to ignore it..just clean it up silently then take him outside again and treat if he does one there. if you scold him, he won't understand...the neurons aren't there at that age for him to understand...he'll just get a fear reaction and get stressed...then he'll try and find some where else in the house to do it...not good. you just have to persevere i'm afraid. feed him his last meal of the day at about 5.30 pm and take him out last thing at about 10-10.30 pm. as soon as you get up in the morning he needs to go out again...not the best when it's peeing down and you've just woken up but it's either that or it's back to cleaning carpets.

do not rub his nose in it again! he is not human and cannot understand what he's done.....all you're doing is abusing him.....don't worry...i was told by some one else to do the same thing till i educated myself about dog psycholoy.....think of it this way...would you expect a nine week old baby to be able to control it's bladder? of course not....be nice to him...do the hourly trip to the garden loo..lots of love and treats and it will work i promise.
