What type of dog door is the most secure?
I want to fit a dog door for my Malamute to have access to the garden and wonder if anyone has any experience of different types and advice about what sort is the beswt to get. I don't want something that is going to be insecure. Any ideas?
Get a door with a magnetic latch. There is a node you place on the dog's collar that opens the magnetic latch when the dog gets near it.
Without the magnetic latch, you are basically inviting any critter that walks by the door into your house.

Dog crates are a handy training tool during the younger years of your puppy’s life for many reasons which I would like to explain a couple in this article.
