Rabbit owners, do you let them out of the cage in a safe area or give them walks on a harness and leash?
If so how long are they out and how often. If you walk them how long is the walk and how often do you walk them? How many rabbits do you have and are they indoor or outdoor rabbits?
I am taking a survey.
My rabbit loves to hop around the living room, and can spend hours exploring around and jumping about. She does have to be supervised, as she rips things apart and likes to chew at the carpet. Rabbits need to be out of their cage for a few hours each day.
I do have a harness for my rabbit and in the spring(before it get too hot), I take her to a local park. I don't walk her(it's not like a dog), but rather follow behind her as she explores. She eventually gets tired and lays down and then I read a book.
I keep her indoors, I feel that it is much safer and there are plenty of websites that explain the dangers of keeping a rabbit outside.
