How to handle a puppy toy poodle?

I have a male toy poodle puppy age 2 month and 28 days. I have been annoyed with a problem that is he always bark or make noise when i put him into cage even at midnight when everybody is sleeping. When he is making noise in the midnight i'll let him out and put him beside me only he'll be quiet. Any better idea to train my baby poodle keep quiet while in cage? I don't want him to disturb others sleeping

Taking him out is probably the worst thing you can do becuz now everytime he wants out he will bark until you do it, but if you do feed him in there in the daytime in stuff and let him know that its a good place and make him like going in there you will have a easier time at night... but i would but i would punish him if the problem persists (tap his nose when he does it and tell him quiet) leave and if he starts again tap hhis nose and say quiet again and so on
