How and where can i plan a vacation with my two dogs who are not very well trained?
I live in Phoenix (AZ) and wish to go for a 2 day trip somewhere with friends during the thanksgiving holidays. My two 8 month old puppies are not very well trained and do not gel well with people. I considered buying dog strollers (is that a good idea?) and to go to 'not very crowded' places. I also thought of kennels, which they are not used to so far. Pet sitting is not an option. Is there a way to work this out? Please suggest places to go and how to manage the dogs there?
P.S I had the dogs for 3 months now and haven't been to many outdoorsy places together. Its usually pet stores and parks.
Well it depends if your dog are big or small. I took my not very well trained golden to Yosemite and It was a pain but she was on her best behavior. If I were you I would leave them in a kennel. You really really need to bring them places to meat people and pets, to socialize them. If you really want to go somewhere go camping and hiking at the Grand Canyon.Our go somewhere in northern California. You cant do anything besides outdoor with dogs. But If there small it's okay
