What's the best aquarium kit for a betta?

I bought a betta a few months ago to keep me company in college. Unfortunately I didn't do much research before hand and only got him a 1.5 gallon tank, I know some say it's big enough for a betta, I'd like a larger one to make it easier to maintain and give my betta more room.

Its going to be kinda hard to find a kit that will fit a feeder. Most have the lids and you don't really want to leave those open. I am not sure what kind of feeder you have, but I know most are kind of bulky.

I know its a 5 g, but I know they come in the smaller sizes too, like a 3 or 2.5.

How to manufacture an automatic fish feeder and water cleaner.?

How to come up with fabrication process

I basically agree with "simsposeidon", but lets assume you have all the answers, you just haven't got a clue how to bring your "invention" into (mass) production....?
There are people who study this process for 3 years, but let me try to explain in a few words.
As a first step, you need what's called a Bill of Materials (BOM). It is a structured list of every basic part of your "thingy", from raw materials to fully assembled stage.
That will tell you where to buy the basic mechanical and electrical components, and which items you manufacture "yourself" (in-house), or which one you buy-in pre-manufactured.
Then you make an assembly process flow chart. This will tell you how many assembly stages you need, and how many you can make (per hour, say).
Then you make a Capital Investment Plan, based on your assembly process plan, which tells you which tools, jigs, fixtures, and machines you need.
Then you make a personnel plan, which tells you how many production operators, quality personnel you need, and what qualifications they need to bring along.
Then you make a cost analysis, based on all above you will know how much material cost, variable cost, and fixed cost is required to produce the item. The latter need to be put into relationship with the production output quantity in order to calculate amortization.
Then you sleep for a few days, and when you wake up you look objectively at the figures and decide whether you really want to do that, or rather ask some manufacturer in China.......ooops.

What kind of automatic fish feeder should I get?

I currently have a DIVIDED heated and filtered 10 gallon aquarium with a single male betta on one side and a dwarf puffer on the other.
Christmas vacation is coming up and I don't see how it will be practical two bring my two boys home with me on a four hour drive, so the most logical thing I could come up with is to invest in an automatic fish feeder to feed them in the three weeks while I will be gone.

But taking a 10gallon isnt going to be all that awful, really.
Just drain most of the water, pack your fish in plastic bags for the drive, and set it back up when you get home! As long as you have the water at 50% or lower, none should slosh out. And your little fishies should be fine, though I recommend placing them in a dark place, like under a towel, to minimize shock.
