How do I get my dogs to stay in their new dog house?

The house is huge, and it can fit about 5 big dogs(I have 3). We got it because it has air conditioning, and it gets brutal outside during the summertime. But for some reason they won't stay in there. That thing was expensive, and they won't even stay in there for more than 5 minutes. I've checked the temp inside of the house, and it's fine. They've had plenty of time to get used to it (2 months) and still they'd rather lay outside in the heat.

They might not want all sleep so closely together. It's ideal to have one house for each dog.
Some dogs just don't use they're dog houses. My dog refuses to get anywhere near a crate or dog house for whatever reason, but my other two dogs love their crates.

If they still aren't using the house when it gets really hot outside, just be sure to have water available for them all the time. It's dangerous to make dogs live outside all the time, so you really need to watch them and take proper care.

Please don't respond if your answer is to spay and neuter..!! I had a female dog dropped off at my house by previous owners (luckily I have a soft sot for dogs.. shame on anyone who just sets their pet out on the side of the road..)
