This is a Hamilton EARTH SERIES Single Thick Nylon Dog Lead. It is 6' long and 1" wide. The lead is made of the highest quality durable nylon webbing and brushed nickel hardware. Includes swivel bolt snap and hand loop. This is a nice looking and tough lead.
Why does my dog not like walks?
I just adopted an adorable Corgi/Terrier mix from the SPCA. I love him and he is wonderful, he doesn't bark much and is fully house-trained. The only problem is that it seems like he doesn't like walks. My vet said that this was weird and suggested changing collars. I had him on a harness initially and he seemed fine but somewhat skittish. Now he has started to walk in circles around me and get tangled in his harness and he will start to cry and yelp. He also ran in front of me while I was in stride and he got kicked in the stomach (poor guy!). I switched to a regular nylon collar and I put it on him and didn't take it off (the harness came off after we were done with the walk). He seems to not like this one either. He runs away whenever I grab the leash and will hide in his bed until I force him to go outside. He also doesn't sniff around a lot or mark his territory. He does all his business in one spot. I not sure of his background/past since he's an SPCA dog. Help!
He probably was not taken out in a leash much. Keep trying and prasing him and giving him treats outside and he'll start thinking of walks as good instead of scary and unknown.

As long as you could put two fingers inbetween the dogs neck and the collar and the collar can't slip over the dogs head; It should be fine.

I have a dog harness, nylon marked itw nexus, how does it work?
it depends on the style really, try putting it on your dog. if it hangs funny the first time then try agian.
If its the right size and it the right position it will fit perfectly.
As far as uses, it depends on the sport you are into. if there is just one ring on the top then its most likely just a walking harness. if there are other rings it could be used for carting, sledding, skjoring, or weight pull.

Where can I find a inexpensive but good quality nylon dog collar?

I buy the double ply traditional buckle one.. My dog still has one of these that we bought three years ago... I've bought these for my dogs for the last ten years.. I just chuck them in a pillowcase and wash them in the washing machine..
You will want to measure your pup's neck though, if the collar fits properly, she should not be able to get her jaw under it to chew it.. If she's still got some growing to do, I'd get the adjustable buckle collar.. That's the only clip collar I really trust.. I really like their metal tags too.. I buy a bunch of them in bulk so that if they break one I alway have another to clip on...
I wouldn't say they're any cheaper then Walmart, but, they are a lot sturdier and still a bit cheaper then petco or petsmart for an equal if not better product..

Other variations of snap hooks are the barrel snap hooks and trigger snap hooks. Many different types of snap hooks are available to work with any type of webbing projects.
Another type of swivel hook is the lanyard hook. This type of swivel hook attaches to a webbing or cord to perform many uses from holding identification cards around a person's neck to holding keys. Lanyards are also used to fire cannons from a safe distance. Key fob hardware is used to clamp on the end of webbing to form an attachment to any equipment, but is usually used in making key chains.
