Is there a way to slow down water coming from an aquarium filter?
I have a turtle tank, with one of those filters that hangs off the back and the tube, you know? Well I noticed that when the turtle swims underneath that flow of water that is being spilled back into the tank from the filter, he has a rough time as it forces him to the bottom. Is there any way to divert the water coming back into the tank so that the pull isn't as strong, or to slow down that flow? Thanks.
Well I noticed with all filters there should be a lever on the back, side or top of the filter. If not try putting a piece of sponge in front of the filter. Make sure it's not over working the filter if this works, also make sure it doesn't slip into the tank the turtle might eat it.
