I want to install a solar powered pond pump or fountain. Any recommendations?

It's for a small ornamental pond, with fish and plants, and variable amounts of sunshine

My recommendation is don't. In my experience, the solar ones simply don't have enough power to really make a "splash". And the batteries eventually cease to charge as well during the day.
