What fish should I get for a 30 gallon tank?
Hi! I am getting a 30 gallon fish aquarium in a couple of days. I am wanting to fill it with freshwater fish. I would love to get a colorful variety but I don't know what type fish work well together or are easy to keep alive. Any suggestions?
rainbow fish, guppies, cherry barbs, or mollies make sure to research all of the fish's needs before you get them
good luck
always remember for every inch of fish you need a gallon of water! so a 3 inch fish needs at least a 3 gallon tank
hope i helped!!! best answer??

Most hexagon fish tanks are tall and can be an amazing feature to add to your room's beauty. Its shape allows interesting viewing angles for those who are admiring your fish because the tank has lots of facets. You may want to have a custom stand since the pillar effect of a hexagon tank on top of a stand with the same shape can look pretty remarkable.
Before you go and buy your very own aquarium you have to decide on a couple of things such as the size of your home, how you want your tank to look, and the types of fish that you want to keep. Most people consider the overall look of the tank before anything else.
Hexagon fish tanks come in different sizes. Generally they come in 10 to 55 gallons, and some are larger. Most people prefer to have a larger tank since it encourages more stable water conditions. These tanks are available online or in your local fish store, or you can have your tank built by a custom tank builder. They can either be made of acrylic or glass. Acrylic is more popular, since it is stronger, lighter, and more durable than glass. So unless you have a very sturdy aquarium stand or sturdy furniture that will act as a stand, an acrylic tank is a better option. If you have kids, an acrylic tank is safer, easier to maintain, and they keep the temperature of the water stable for longer periods of time. A word of caution though, a tank made of acrylic is more prone to scratches, and may be very hard to repair once it's scratched. An acrylic tank marks easier than glass.
You have to find ample support for your hexagon fish tank, since an aquarium filled with water is very heavy. A fish tank normally weighs at least 10 to 12 pounds per gallon. Hence a large 50 to 55-gallon tank can weigh at least 500 to 550 pounds. Normally, hexagon tanks are small enough to be placed on a sturdy desk or furniture, but having a custom stand built is also advisable. It can bear and withstand the weight and a hexagon tank on a hexagon stand is more aesthetically pleasing. Whatever option you decide on - regular furniture or a hexagon stand, just ensure that the stand has a level surface and that it is strong enough to hold your tank. You don't want any aquarium tragedies, do you?
Putting together a great tank requires a lot of preparation, thought and effort. Ideally you should build a tank that complements your home theme, providing a remarkable variety of marine life and at the same time satisfying your personal, unique taste.
Viewing a couple of colorful fishes gliding in their lush miniature aquatic world could be the perfect way to unwind after a long, stressful day. Because of this, more and more fish tanks can be found in homes, hospitals, doctor's offices and clinics, spas, and offices.
